Event Scheduling FAQ
Can you do more than one show per day?
Yes. If you see a date with only one show scheduled, we may be available to do a second show on the same date.
How far ahead do I have to book my event?
Some shows are scheduled over a year in advance, but some are booked only weeks or months in advance. We've even scheduled shows the day before the event.
How far will you travel?
We will travel wherever we can serve within Pennsylvania. Federal animal laws prohibit us from interstate travel in some cases. Our program rate includes free local travel, which is a 10 mile radius from our location (17545) based on a mapquest estimate. Additional mileage is billed at .95 cents each way. For example, if your event is 20 miles away, the first 10 miles of travel are included FREE in your program rate. The remaining 10 miles are billed at .95 cents each way, for a $19 travel fee. This mileage rate structure allows us to offer extremely affordable programs locally, and very competitve rates more than 100 miles away, and also keep up with the rising cost of driving a van full of animals all over the Northeast. Neighboring locations can save even more on travel cost by scheduling back-to-back shows the same day and dividing one travel rate between both shows. Neighboring schools and libraries often take advantage of this scheduling option to make our show even more affordable.
But are REPTILES really appropriate for MY EVENT?
We have provided professional quality nature programming for countless venues over the years. We are glad to customize each program to fit your event. Usually our setup looks like this, but we do many custom setups each year for events of all sizes and themes.
We will continue to update this section as planned events become officially
scheduled. Bookmark this page & check back often for places and
events we will be attending. Then come on out and see us!
